Today's comic is brought to you by the letter "A"...
Alex wrote today's comic and I was impressed, so I let him post it. I'm not sure exactly how much is fact and how much is fiction, but I'm not going to complain.
So, another E3 come and gone and once again WE weren't invited! Maybe next year. Either way, I hear great fun was had by all and so many great games seem to be coming out of it it's hard to stay mad. As we said last comic a bitchin' new Zelda game will be out. All I can say about it before I enter in to total euphoria is that it looks awesome and 2005 cannot come fast enough. I know what you're thinking, euphoria, big word, I got a thesaurus and I'm trying it out. In the more immediate future I'm looking to Resident Evil 4. I loved RE and RE 0, but something was always mising. I mean, I'd shit myself playing at home alone, usually my family would come home and walk into some of my parrinoia induced zombie traps, but still the camera/controls were never quite right for what I wanted. Now I've got movement similar to Meteroid Prime and interaction like you wouldn't believe. Pretty much any item on the ground can be a weapon. If you get attaked by a zombie type thingy (your enimies aren't actually zombies... go figure) with a chainsaw and you're still in one peice after, you can take that and well... you get the idea. Ofcourse Halo 2 is out soon so I'm all about that. Already I can tell you two things; 1) It's going to be the best FPS on any console and 2) the human assult rifle will still be usless. I also hear that bots will be included in death matches, so even more to look forward to. Finally we get Fable. I saw this game last E3 and was blown away and then waited, and waited... and waited, but it never came! But they've promised a 2004 release... or so I hear. God, I wont need to leave the house until this time next year. As for other games such as Half Life 2 and Doom 3, well, I can't even comprehend the amount of technology that's required to run such games. It's not that I don't know that such machines exist, it's just they're so far out of reach.
That's a lot of typing. Shit, no one's going to read all that. Oh well, enjoy!
