Umm, about that...
Ok, I'll just start by saying Alex wrote the comic and it does not entirly reflect atcual events. Yeah. Now that that's out of the way I'll let you all interpret the comic and my previous statment however you want.
I saw "Trainspotting" on the weekend. It's a movie about heroin addicts in Scotland, so every five minutes I was hoping the Boondock Saints would pop by. No luck however. "Trainspotting" is a very dark comedy, not really a crime caper like "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (which I've seen far too many times to be healthy) so it was different from what I was used to. It's like "Requiem for a Dream", but with a happier ending (much happier).
I also watched "Annie Hall" and realized that Kevin Smith is exactly like Woody Allen, excapt with dick and fart jokes. I can draw many parallels between Woody Allen's "Annie Hall" and Kevin Smith's "Chasing Amy". They're both whinning about women they broke-up with... except "Annie Hall" is funny. Not to say that Kevin Smith isn't hilarious, but man, "Chasing Amy" had far to much crying and not enough Jason Lee, Jay and Slient Bob.
Well, that's pretty much it... oh wait, I totally ROCKED Alex at Soul Caliber II. Ya, I'm sure he'll give you a different story but I still own him at SCII for the PS2. Enjoy!
