Mary

Today's News

Oh well...

Yes, I know. I'm a lazy bastard who should be shot, cut up into tiny pieces, and hidden in the walls of an overly large mansion located on the top of either a hill or some sort of a cliff. But... Well... yeah... Scrubs was on again tonight... and well... I'm lazy... I hate myself though... if it makes you feel any better.

This comic features my beautiful voice singing "Mary", a great song by Sublime. Unfortunatly it's only available live with another song called "Big Salty Tears". Still you should download it. Even though it features such terribly un-romantic lyrics as these:

I don't know if I can go so far up inside you tonight.
Oh Mary baby I could do it right.
When we got to the pad,
Mary baby started calling me her dad.
Yes, she gave me head.
We could not find a damn bed!
Fifteen years old plus one, hotter than a microwave oven.
Oh Mary baby, daddy is coming home.
It's still a love song. And that's why Sublime rocks.

And now sone important voting information. Well, first off, thanks for such a great month! Like I said, top 20 is all I ever hoped for... and boy did you guys deliver. A big thanks to everyone who voted for us. Secondly, the vote counter on TWC will be reset at the end of the month, so we start anew in February. I think it be cool if we could get as many votes as possible in at the very start of the month, so we could see just how high we could get. So, any votes you give will be, once again, much appreciated.

Also, I've desided that our writing staff has been slacking a bit too much in this past month. That's why, I had them fired. In other words, I'm going to try to pay a little more attention to the writing process of the strips. Hopefuly this will increase the quality of the comics to come.

Cheers,

Alex

He's a little off key...

I think every one will remember the first two panles, the third is all new and based on what happens when a human is actually present when Alex sings. Unfortunatly, there was no exageration here, the pain was excruciating to say the least. No American Idol for you Alex!

Speaking of American Idol, I'm ashamed to say that I watched an episode. I know, I know, however you'll be happy to know it was only in the spirit of watching people fail miserably and have their dreams crushed that I watched it. I know, I'm a terrible person. However, not as terrible as the british guy who judges. At one point this guy had five or six girls and guys all crying. I don't think that even Alex and I combined could create such evil!

As I said Wednsday I'd like to refer every one to a little band called Shamus. Those of you who go to Heritage College will have seen me wearing a Shamus t-shirt. Who are they? Well, they're a punk band. Why is this special? Simple, I know the bassist. They've played every where from Montreal to Toronto and such venues as Edgefest and Vans warped tour (but I may be wrong about that last one so don't quote me). They've got a debut album out called "Raise Your Hand", so if you have time go check 'em out, their like a blend of Elvis Costello and The Clash. What could possibly go wrong?

STILL waiting for my Ranma (I told you I'm not going to shut up about it until it gets here), so I'll just say WOOOOOOO7! We're 15th over all, thanks for the support everybody!
