Return Of The whoa...
Today's comic is the first in a series of "festive" comics made just for the holidays. I actually wrote them quite a while ago, and broke them down in such a way that I have no idea really what's going to happen with them. Also, Alex makes sure that the insanity that pours from my brain is understandable to the general public (i.e. he makes them funny and readable). So I give you The Dominos Online version of "It's a wonderful Life", or at least that's what I think I called it...
As you may have guessed, I saw "Return Of The King" on Wednsday. The thing about trilogies is that they have a begining; which blows you away and sets the stage, a middle; that starts and finishes nothing, it actually makes things worse, and an ending; that wraps everything up in a neat little package. "Return Of The King" does just that, and what an end! For those of you who saw the first movie, and didn't know the story or what to expect, you were probably blown away, like I was. "Return Of The King" made me come out of the theater going "whoa, that was...whoa.." just like the first one. If you haven't seen any of the Lord of the Rings movies, and don't plan on seeing them (blaspheemer), then at least go see this one, it truely is amazing. It's about 3hrs 15mins, but it really does cover everything, it finishes every story line, although at times it does feel a little drawn-out, but nothing like the fabled "Trinity death sceen".
The only problem now is, will I ever truley LOVE another movie? What could possibly top what I,ve just seen? Granted "Kill Bill vol.2" will rock my world, but just not to the same epic extent that "Return Of The King" or The Lord of the Rings series did.
