GTA driving 101...
Right, the comic! I take full responsibility for this one. I just borrowed a friend's PS2 in exchange for the Xbox. So that means GTA Vice City, which rocks. Before that, it was a similar style game, "True Crime". Although, in "True Crime" you have a karma meter which means running over pedestrians is bad. Vice City has no such meter and has made me a much more reckless and fatal driver to all NPC's. I'm just hoping that this habit doesn't carry over into the real world...
In my quest to learn new martial arts skills and disciplines, I have decided to start learning Bojutsu (or for those of you who don't do martial arts, art of the huge fucking stick). I of course needed a Bo staff, this meant a trip to The Martial Artist (a store that sells anything slightly related to martial arts). I was a kid in a fucking candy store. While browsing through tonfas, escremas, and a library of instructional and entertainment videos, I came across two things I found odd. Firstly in the instructional section, they have "Nude Tai Chi". I shit you not. What I want to know is; what's the fucking difference between nude and regular Tai Chi, besides the obvious? The second thing I noticed is they had an anime movie section that looked like it had been bought out of necessity rather than real interest. Among the titles of odd Japanese cartoons was a movie called "Giant Robo". Real fucking original! Like 50% of all anime is about giant fucking robots!! By dropping the "t" at the end, you're just creating confusion. Quite frankly I think the name was actually "Giant Robot" in Japanese, but the guys who translated it couldn't believe that there would be a title that fucking stupid!
On the lighter side of things, end of term is fast approaching and so is the snow, so depending on how often Alex and I are skiing/snowboarding the comic schedule of December may be permanent.
Or not.
Well that's all you get from me, enjoy!
