An evening left wanting...

Right, about the comic, well I personally blame Alex. It's all his fault. If you're reading this first then RUN, RUN AWAY. More from Alex...?

Just finished a sparing class, usually I'm feeling pretty good but I got stuck in group 2 (aka: loser group), so the evening was spent beating on blue and brown belts. I barly broke a sweat!

For those of you who care Max Payne 2 will be out October 4th, I think. Go to ign.com to see some sw33t videos (I'd normally give you a hyper link but the ign site is down and Law and Order: SVU is on).

Sorry the post is so short but I got home late and had to do alot of work. Also we didn't get enough people for the Delirium game but a few people are going to do a normal game, I'll give a time tommorrow and if you want you can join. Evening!

My throat hurts

I can see why Ronan doesn't particularly have faith in my sanity, and by association, the sanity of the comics that spring out of my head. This didn't just spring out, the various pieces of this comic were thought up over the space of days. As a result, today's comic is one of the most lucid and down to earth comics we've ever published.

Drawing is a very interesting experience. When I draw, I often find that the emotions of the characters I'm drawing become reflected in how I feel. I swear that when I did the pencils of the first three panels of the last Mr. Tumnus comic, I didn't stop grinning. Equally, whilst sketching up today's strip, I felt a strange yearning to start writing bad poetry while listening to emo punk...

The second panel of today's strip has a much more 'real' feal than most anything I've done. Our characters aren't really as '3d' as I might wish and so it isn't always easy to get the right angle. So I improvised by taking a picture of myself and sketching it. Perhaps, as our comic evolves, our characters might grow into something more like the result.

Cheers,

Alex
